Latte Lounge owners David & Georgia never stop trying to figure out what it is their customers may want next. In fact they rarely stop at all ! By the way, David's the one running around in his trademark shorts, no matter what the temperature is - and most of the time around here it isn't shorts weather. Georgia's the one one with half glasses and a quick wit, keeping everyone calm and focused on their customers. Both David and Georgia bring a wealth of experience in the food service business to the Lounge. David's route to the Latte was a more formal one; after working during high school in local restaurants he enrolled at Culinary Institute of America and following graduation added to his resume as manager at well known local and national restaurants in Atlanta Georgia.After returning to Oneonta David purchased Sears and soon after saw opportunity in an existing coffee shop that would become The Latte Lounge. Success of the Lounge ultimately meant selling Sears and it wasn't long before he realized he needed a top notch person to join him; someone not just with experience but someone with a matching passion for quality and customer service. He found that person in Georgia who has worked in every aspect of the food service business for over thirty eight years, throughout the country. Cook, baker, server, owner....Georgia brings it all to the Latte everyday. When she isn't working on the day to day operations or hiring and training staff, she and David will visit food shows for new ideas.
